Financial Planning Overview
A financial plan—in concert with advice from a team of the clients’ advisors — will address the broad accumulation, preservation and wealth transfer needs while respecting the clients’ desire to maintain the accustomed lifestyle. A comprehensive financial plan focuses on the ‘big picture’ in the long-term, plotting a course to manage life events such as retirement, charitable giving and estate planning. It examines every element of the clients’ financial situation:
• Cash flow and debt management
• Risk management
• Asset accumulation & preservation
• Retirement planning
• Education funding
• Charitable giving
• Estate planning & transfer
A comprehensive financial plan can illuminate the advantages and disadvantages of the clients’ current financial situation versus goals and will suggest alternatives to meet client objectives.
Tailored Approach
Our approach to planning is tailored to our clients’ needs. We strive to create a living and workable strategy unique to the clients’ needs and concerns. Our goal is not to identify one particular strategy, but to clearly outline strategic options in the scope of an integrated approach.
Often there is not one best strategy. Knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each is critical to clients’ decision making. We work closely with each of our clients to identify and evaluate the appropriate range of alternatives so that each client can make informed and timely decisions regarding each of the financial strategies under consideration.
